Age Relaxation
- Gorkha Community – 5 cm height relaxation; age limits remain unchanged.
- Bot Tribe – 5 cm height relaxation; age limits remain unchanged.

Selection Process
- Stage 1 – Written Examination (objective, multiple‑choice, English medium, negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer). Bonus marks for NCC certificates: ‘C’ = 5 %, ‘B’ = 3 %, ‘A’ = 2 %.
- Stage 2 – Physical Standard Test (PST) – Height and chest measurements (qualifying). Shortlisted candidates will be 6 × the total vacancies.
- Stage 3 – Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Qualifying standards:
- Male: 1600 m run ≤ 6 min 30 sec, 20 push‑ups.
- Female: 1000 m run ≤ 6 min 30 sec, 14 ½ ft shot‑put (4 kg) in three attempts.
